Living Donor

Short Name: Living Donor
Project Type: Web Application
Project Category: Clinical

Description

Living Donor is an external-facing Web site that enables members of the public to initiate the process of being screened as potential living organ donors. Most often, these screenings are conducted for the benefit of family or friends, and they begin with potential donors completing online forms at https://apps.uams.edu/livingdonor that describe their contact information and health history. The Living Donor program's staff reviews these submissions, follows up with the potential donors and--when all conditions are met--help to make all the necessary arrangements to complete the living organ donation. Site administrators have access to a dashboard to track the progress of applicants as they go through psychological and medical screening.
