Arkansas Building Effective Services for Trauma

Short Name: ARBEST
Project Type: Web Application
Project Category: Clinical

Description

The Arkansas Building Effective Services for Trauma (ARBEST) system has two primary missions: - To support training the UAMS Psychiatric Research Institute offers to parents of, and professionals who work with, children who have suffered any type of trauma - To enable child welfare professionals (Child Advocacy Centers, therapists, advocates, and others) to track evidence-based therapy and other services they provide to their clients in a Webportal that doesn't contain personally-identifiable information about their clients The original system, written by PRI years ago, was MS Access-based. IT Development is in the latter stages of a long-term, multi-phase project that has migrated ARBEST to a browser-based GUI with a SQL server back end that replicates--and improves on--the functionality and user experience the original system offered.
